James McNaught (June 8, 1870 – March 1919) was a Scottish footballer who was born in Dumbarton. He played as a half back. He joined Newton Heath from Linfield F.C. in February 1892. He would leave the club in May 1898 for Tottenham Hotspur. During his United career, he would play in 157 games and score 12 goals.
