James Madison High School is a high school located in Vienna, Virginia and is part of Fairfax County Public Schools. Its rivals include Oakton High School, Langley High School in McLean and Marshall High School in Falls Church. Its mascot is the warhawk (James Madison was a warhawk, one who supported war with England) and its colors are black and red. According to Newsweek Magazine's 2006 list of the top US high schools, Madison was ranked 123.[2]
