James Joseph Mann

A native of Holbrook, Massachusetts and a professional baseball player [1], James Joseph ("Jim") Mann was taken in the 54th round (1468th overall) of the 1993 amateur entry draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. After being traded to the New York Mets, he made his Major League Debut against the Los Angeles Dodgers at the age of 25. He later played for the Houston Astros and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

James ("Jim") Mann graduated with the Holbrook Jr.\Sr High Class of 1992. He subsequently attended Massasoit Community College, where he helped win the 1993 NJCAA national title in Men's Division II Baseball.
