James Jefferson

James Jefferson was a professional wrestler best known as Spike of The MOD Squad.

James Jefferson started wrestling in 1985 the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions as Jim Jeffers. He was a jobber and often teamed with his brother, Mack.
In 1986, the Jeffers' brothers changed their gimmick and donned motorcycle police outfits and became The MOD Squad. Jim became Spike and Mack became Basher. They went to Mid-Southern Wrestling and captured the tag team titles as a heel team with manager J.D. Costello.
They moved on to the Central States area and Florida Championship Wrestling where they had more success before retiring in 1991.
