James Hall (born February 4, 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a defensive end in the National Football League, and is currently playing for the St. Louis Rams. Hall attended the University of Michigan. He went undrafted in the 2000 NFL Draft, but signed with the Detroit Lions. Hall had a career high 3.5 sacks against the Buffalo Bills on October 15, 2006. The Lions won the game and got their first victory of the 2006-07 season. Hall was traded to the St.Louis Rams from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
