James H. Fay

James Herbert Fay (April 29, 1899 - September 10, 1948) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from New York.
Fay was born in New York City. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service in the military during World War I. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1929. He was elected to Congress in 1938 and served from January 3, 1939 until January 3, 1941. In 1940 he lost a re-election bid to William T. Pheiffer but won back his seat in 1942 and served in Congress again from January 3, 1943 until January 3, 1945.
