James H. Ammons

James H. Ammons is the current chancellor of North Carolina Central University. On February 1, 2007, Florida A&M University selected Ammons as its tenth president.

Before becoming the head of NCCU in 2001, Ammons served as provost at FAMU. He is also a FAMU alumnus. Also see Richard Baddour.
