James Geddes

James Geddes (b. 1953) is an American who, in 1992, received two consecutive seventy-five year sentences - one for cultivation of five Cannabis sativa plants - and the other for possession of a small amount of marijuana found on his person.

On 20 November 1992 Sheriff's Deputies of Meade County, Kansas arrived at the mobile home of James Geddes. Orville Geddes was a frequent visitor as the two lived less than five miles apart, and frequently James could be found. A warrant had been issued earlier that day for the arrest of Orville Geddes on a parole violation.
