James Franck Bright

James Franck Bright (born May 29, 1832 in London; died October 1920) was a British historian and Master of University College, Oxford.

He was the son of the physician Richard Bright. He was educated at Rugby Oxford, making his master at Marlborough College, where he was Head of the Modern Department for sixteen years. Bright returned to Oxford in 1872, where he became Dean at University College in 1874.
