J. E. Medford was born July 29th, 1934 in DeKalb, Texas. He co-authored and published The Medfords of the South and related families and Medfords of the South and related families, volume II with Joseph W. B. H. Medford. These books were a culmination of over 60 years of Medford family genealogy research.
