James DePaiva

Actor James DePaiva (born October 8, 1957 in Livermore, CA) starred on One Life to Live from 1987 to 1990 and from 1991 to 2003 in the role of Maximillian "Max" Holden.

After being released from his contract at One Life to Live he took up directing for As the World Turns.

DePaiva is married to his former One Life to Live co-star Kassie DePaiva, with whom he has one son, James Quentin, born in 1997.

Prior to that, DePaiva was married to former "Hee Haw" actress Misty Rowe, with whom he has a daughter, Dreama Marie (born 1992).
