James Craig (Irish Professor)

Professor Sir James Craig (died 12 July 1933), was an Irish Professor of Medicine and an independent Teachta Dála (TD) in the Irish Free State.
He was elected to the 3rd Dáil in the 1922 general election, respresenting the Dublin University constituency in Dáil Éireann. He was re-elected at the next five general elections, but died four months after his election to the 8th Dáil. The by-election for his seat was won by another independent candidate, Dr Robert Rowlette.
