James C. Murray

James Cunningham Murray (May 16, 1917 - October 19, 1999), of Chicago, was a U.S. Representative from Illinois, 1955-1957. Born in 1917, he graduated from De Paul University Law School in 1940, and subsequently worked as a lawyer. He served in the United States Army Air Forces from 1942 to 1945. After his term as a Representative, he served as a circuit judge from 1970 to 1984. He died in 1999.
