James B. Burkholder

James B. Burkholder (1918/10/22 - 2006/05/10) was a former member of the US military who, after retiring in 1973, turned pacifist.
He joined the Army before World War II, served during that war, then the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He rose to the rank of colonel.
During his retirement, he presided over the Tucson chapter of Veterans for Peace, then over the national organisation.
