James Allen (born March 28, 1975) was an American football player. He played running back for the Bears, rushing for over 1100 yards in 2000, before being displaced as starter by Anthony Thomas. He caught a hail mary pass from Shane Matthews that was tipped by David Terrell to tie a game against the Cleveland Browns in 2001. He then played for the Texans.
