James Scott Skinner Gravestone, Allanvale Cemetery, Aberdeen, Scotland, Great Britain

Scott Skinner was the maestro of the fiddle, the "Strathspey King". Born in Banchory 1843, died 1927, many of his tunes are regularly played today eg "The Bonnie Lass o' Bon Accord". His grave lies across the Great Southern Road from the Duthie Park, Aberdeen.
