[edit] Shanghai

Hello. I appreciate your contribution to this article, but I would rather that when you make any changes, please take note and keep to format consistency. I am saying this with respect to the infobox format and style. Please do take a look at Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing infobox for the consistent infobox format (for a Chinese municipality). Also, you might also want to look at a preview of your edited page before you submit the changes. When I look at the History tab, I see your username appearing about 20 times consecutively. Previewing before submitting final changes will help a lot. It will also make it easier for people to look through and use the History table more effectively. Thank you. [edit] China

Please stop trying to put a picture of Zhang Ziyi into this article. Someone will remove it soon (probably me). --Ideogram 09:24, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Why? It's a legal picture and it colors the article well. The US article has got Elvis. Not all Chinese culture has to be 800 years old to be cultural. I would put someone even more famous (can't think of any popular icons worth putting right now), but Zhang Ziyi is probably hotter. People in the West know who she is. It's not like I'm putting a pic of some porn star. Her films have strong themes on Chinese culture. --JakeLM 09:27, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Ok well, our opinions differ. The right thing to do now is to start a discussion on Talk:China and see what other people think.
Also, next time use the "Show preview" button so you don't fill up the edit history. --Ideogram 09:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Please use edit summaries. --Ideogram 09:45, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. --Ideogram 09:53, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
