[edit] Hello
Hi JAKAZiD, and welcome to Wikipedia. I know who you are, from my DDR days (I even spelled your name right this time!), but I'm perfectly alright if you don't remember me. In fact, it's probably better that way. Thanks for your edits on a handful of hardcore articles, on here most of which need a lot of POV and verification work. I will be adding a couple more UK labels in the near future, and I hope you choose to stay and contribute whatever you can. Later. freshofftheufoΓΛĿЌ 11:58, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Freshgavin, no problem with the help to the hardcore articles, though I would ideally like to add more and make more edits in the future. Were you a member of any DDR forums or anything? If so, what was your username? I don't recognise the username you use on here but if you had a different on I'd probably recognise it. :) JAKAZiD 20:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "I don't know about you..."
...but you might want to get rid of that section. One of the images that was there got deleted in IFD, and the gigantic text could break some browsers. --Coredesat 23:02, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:MasterWax_Vinyl_Label.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:MasterWax_Vinyl_Label.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 03:36, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- I wrote an article on MasterWax Records a while ago which was removed for some reason... not notable perhaps? Though I don't agree with this as a number of the artists featuring on the label already have Wikipedia articles. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to get it back either. =( JAKAZiD 16:50, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re Neil Burgess
I agree with you that it's gotten ridiculous. I requested page semi-protection, but the reviewing admin decided there wasn't enough activity. I disagree, especially since this vandalism could be considered libel, but it is what it is. The IP address that keeps adding the info is a shared address, so they will only block it for short periods. So, I guess we just keep watching the article. If it keeps up, I will probably try requesting protection again.
Thanks for helping.--Kubigula (talk) 15:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, thank you for the number of times you've repeatedly reversed it, which is many times before I saw it. JAKAZiD 22:16, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Upside-down marmalade
Hi; That was funny, but please don't do things like that in the main article space. Tom Harrison Talk 01:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
