My name is Jakob Spooner. I live in a small council estate called Mackworth. I attend a smallish secondary school called Murray Park, which is situated in the next estate to mine, Mickleover. I speak English natively, but know some Latvian, and I know some advanced sentences and words in French, which I am learning in school. I am interested in Cricket, Football and both forms of Rugby. I support Derby County and Derbyshire County Cricket Club Other interests I have other than sports include editing Wikipedia, World Wars, Scrubs and various other things. I often edit Wikipedia at dinnertimes at my school. I am interested in countries also, like South American countries and African countries. I like to read up about their native festivals and other things including country customs and other things. I like Isometric Pixel Art, too.

[edit] My work in Isometric Pixel Art

I am learning techniques and skills in the art form Isometric Pixel Art, or IPA. This is not a structured thing though, it is something that I do in my spare time. I have done one or two pieces and they are starting to look good now that I know the basics and a couple of more advanced things about this art form. IPA is interesting because everything looks so fake, but also looks slightly realistic, but that is if one admires this art form. Saying that it is often frowned upon by so called 'real' artists, who use a paintbrush and a drawing pencil. In my humble opinion, IPA is a beautiful art form, which requires a steady hand and a good amount of creativity to do.
