[edit] Synopsis
The episode opens with Jake at his locker. He closes the door to see Rose. Rose asks if he has a second to talk, but Jake starts to walk away only to fall down a flight of stairs. The scene cuts to Jake, Trixie and Spud watching Rose walk home from school and Jake expresses great concern about how to deal with the problem that Rose is Huntsgirl, but Trixie tells Jake that if Rose ever knew the truth, she would kill him on the spot. The scene changes to the Huntslair where Rose enters her room only to have the Huntsman tell her that it is time to prepare for the Grand Equinox Hunt.
After a failed mission, Jake flies home only to fall right into the Huntsclan's trap and is hit by a train. Jake wakes up locked in the back of a huntsvehicle with Silver, Clooney, Reggie and Bertha. The scene changes to Jake and the others chained to stakes. The Huntsman makes a speech, but Rose interrupts it and swears out loud that she will slay the American Dragon and the Huntsclan burst into applause. Later, Rose approaches Jake saying that "she wants to get a good look at him before she slays him". Jake is able to distract her while his tail snatches the keys to the chains away from her and as Rose stalks away Jake frees the captives.
It takes a while for the Huntsman and Rose to realize that their captives have escaped and the clan soon catches up with Jake and the others, but Jake blows fire causing toxic fumes to chase the Huntsclan away. Jake then tells the others that it is time they fight back and Jake tries to train them, but it all ends up in disaster. After the long day of work, they go to a cave to rest, but the Huntsclan has found them. Jake sacrifices himself and he is recaptured while the others escape.
Rose chains Jake up again, but before she can kill him the group arrives and frees Jake. Jake chases away the Huntsman and the rest of the clan, but Rose throws a bola at Jake tying him to a tree. Rose goes in for the kill when Jake turns into his human form. Rose peels off her mask shocked. She then charges at Jake with her staff glowing and Jake shuts his eyes bracing himself for the painful death that is sure to come, but Jake opens his eyes to see that Rose has cut the ropes that had bound him and is running away. Jake tries to chase after her, but he trips over the ropes and Rose is gone.
The next day at school, Jake is excited because he can finally talk to Rose, but Rose does not show up. Jake goes to Principal Dercerto who tells him that Rose has transferred schools. He is then handed a picture of him and Rose together at the school dance that Rose had left for him.
