[edit] Salomo is questionable

New International Encyclopedia is the source of the name Salomo, however, the word may well be Salomon. GhostofSuperslum 23:37, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

At the entry in New International Encyclopedia, there was only enough room in the column for the words BARTHOLDY, bär-tõl'dé, Jakob Salamo, ergo, the printers omitted the n. I intend to move the article to Jakob Salomon Bartholdy. GhostofSuperslum 00:21, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
The name as a whole is questionable. Originally he was Jakob Salomon. Then he changed his name to Jakob Batholdy. I am very doubtful if there is evidence of his using 'Jakob Salomon Bartholdy' - i am certainly not aware of any.--Smerus 00:00, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
