I came back and added some more after the deletion tag, as I had planned to. The guy just released his first cd after having pretty good success with his first single. I heard it plenty of times on both my local country stations. Seems like he's one of the upcoming stars for country music.
- I removed the deletion tag as I am not the author of the article. It is stated at WP:Music that an artist can be considered significant if they have charted in a medium or large country. Jake Owen has done so. Mallanox 23:14, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

- I reverted the edits. that the above person added (not you Mallanox, the other person). The text in question was copied word for word from CMT.com's website, so I snipped it out. TenPoundHammer 00:46, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
