Jake Roenick is a police officer in the 2005 remake of the movie Assault on Precinct 13. Prior to the start of the movie storyline, he lost both of his partner's in a fatal shooting. This event had quite a traumatic impact on Roenick, and it resulted in his indulgence of both booze and pills. He seems to have a tense sexual dynamic with his appointed psychiatrist , Dr. Alex Sabian (Maria Bello).
