Jake Long

Jake Edward Long (born May 9, 1985) is an offensive tackle for the Michigan Wolverines. On August 21, 2006 he was named offensive captain of the team. Long graduated from Lapeer East High School in Lapeer, Michigan in 2003.

At Michigan he is a two-year letterman. He has appeared in 28 games and made 25 starts at offensive tackle. made 14 starts at right tackle and 11 at left tackle. In 2003 he was redshirted.

He attended Lapeer East High School in Lapeer, Michigan where he was the second player in his high school's history to earn all-state first team honors in football. In baseball he played first base and is the all time leader in home runs and rbi's.
