Jak Ohmsford is a character from the Shannara video game by Legend Entertainment, adapted from the novel series by Terry Brooks.

Jak is the son of Shea Ohmsford, and apparently the father of Wil Ohmsford. The Warlock Lord's return and the destruction of the Sword of Shannara forces Jak to journey with Allanon in search of help and aid.

Because this character is never mentioned in any of the books, some people believe the game to be not canonical. This however seems highly debatable, since the game was officially endorsed by Brooks at the time of its development. It's interesting to note that, as a Legend freebie, the game box contained the first novel of the original trilogy.
