Jairo Guedz

Jairo Guedz was the first guitarist of the original lineup of the Brazilian Heavy Metal band Sepultura.When playing with the Seps he used the pseudonym Jairo Tormentor, and on occasion, Jairo T. He left the band in 1987 being replaced by Andreas Kisser. Jairo also played guitar with The Mist, Overdose and Eminence, all metal bands from Brazil. He is also father of Igor and Érico, 17 and 12 years old respectively. Nowadays he lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He remains good friends with the band to this day and often joins them in soccer matches. He recently appeared on Sepultura's latest DVD, Live In Sao Paolo, playing guitar on the songs Necromancer and Troops Of Doom, both of which appeared on the only Sepultura album he contributed to, Morbid visions.
