Jaime Lyn Bauer (born Norma Marvhne Bauer on March 9, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American soap opera actress.

The one time Miss Phoenix beauty contest winner is best known for her two long-running soap roles: Lauralee "Lorie" Brooks on The Young and the Restless, which she played from 1973 to 1982 with reprises in 1984 and 2002, and Dr. Laura Spencer Horton on Days of Our Lives. Replacing Rosemary Forsyth in the role, she played Laura from 1993 to 1999 with a reprisal in 2003.

In addition to being on the cover of Playboy in February 1970, she was to appear again in January 1982, in The Women of the Soaps: The Bad and the Beautiful. She later posed for Penthouse in May 1974 as "Jessica Len".

In December 1983, Ms. Bauer submitted a letter to the anti-pornography hearings of the Minneapolis Government Operations Committee (published in "In Harm's Way: The Pornography Civil Rights Hearings", ed. Catharine A. MacKinnon and Andrea Dworkin, Harvard Univ. Press, 1997, p.224). She indicated that the nude photos of her published by Playboy in the Jan. 1981 issue were test photos from 1971 for which she never signed a release and was never paid. The same was true of true of photos published by Hustler Magazine in 1980. She regretted making the photos but never sued either magazine. As a committed Christian, she indicated she "put it all into the Lord's hands" and that accepting "payment would have been giving my approval or agreement to something which was unjust, hurtful, unethical & illegal".

She has been married to Jeremy Swan, Emmy Award winning Makeup Artist, since 1982, and they have three children, Damien, Gabriel, and Angelica. Angelica has epilepsy. Accordingly, Ms. Bauer has spend a great deal of time serving as a celebrity spokesperson for the Epilepsy Foundation.
