[edit] License tagging for Image:LWynn.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:LWynn.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:09, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AFD comments
I'm new at Wikipedia, sorry if I did this wrong. I just wanted to commend you on your comments over on the AFD page regarding age differences etc. You're completely write regarding Motor - well put.
Haha, that's a nice link to the Tireless Rebutter, and very apt. And I understand exactly what you were saying about editting to avoid personal attack. Milton 00:13, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] {{user childfree}}
Hey, I don't know what exactly you did other than restoring the page, but it worked. I just switched all the links to the new location. As one last housekeeping thing, could you tag the page for deletion with {{db-author}}? And if you ever need any help with this sort of thing again, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks. —Mira 05:06, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Percussion-retractable.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Percussion-retractable.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:AndyKim.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:AndyKim.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] That's a relief
Thank you for that. If there is one thing I dread is the thought of accumulating a trail of enemies as a result of my editing provocative topics. So it is nice to know that we can have our disagreements and remain civil with each other. I look forward to more encounters - you are a challenging correspondent. [edit] Re: Death Note issues
Thanks for the concern, but I'm not terribly concerned with how I appear to other editors. I edit in the interests of keeping the articles accurate and within the guidelines and policies that Wikipedians have agreed upon. I may appear to "sweat the small stuff", but your implication that I don't deal with vandalism is somewhat unfounded, though I'm not quite sure what you mean by "how to deal with the IP vandals". Anonymous vandals get reverted, and I often put a warning on their Talk pages, even though there's often a chance that they're on a rotating IP and won't get it anyway. How else does one deal with anonymous vandals? Anyway, I do appreciate your comments, but accuracy of information is a major part of the first pillar of Wikipedia (to be more exact, "All articles must (...) strive for accuracy") so I'll continue to edit in my way, and hopefully you'll understand my reasoning for doing so. Thanks again! Nique talk 12:47, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
