The company has a very strong local history, dating back to 1906. From 1949 to 1985 Jagger specialized in hand-made suits. In 1986 the company developed the concept to manufacture sportswear when they purchased their own machinery and set up business. Now all cut and sewn apparel is made in their main facility in Kragujevac, while knitwear is still sub-contracted. Cutting, sewing, finishing, and washing are done in their second location. Jagger owns land and has plans to build new facility for all manufacturing processes. The company is planning expansion.

Jagger has four production lines: jeans, shirts, tee shirts/jogging suits, pants and skirts.

Jagger’s flagship store, company owned, also is located in Kragujevac. Jagger has stores in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, and the Czech Republic.

The main company owned retail store is located in central Serbian town of Kragujevac, while they have over 20 franchises in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia; one in St. Petersburg in Russia; one in Prague in the Czech Republic. Their merchandise is also sold to other retail stores.
