Jagadish Gupta

Jagadish Gupta (Bengali: জগদীশ গুপ্ত) (1886-1957), was a renowned Bangla writer and poet. He was born in Kushtia, Bengal (now in Bangladesh).

He studied in Kolkata City School and Ripon College.

Jagadish Gupta started his writing career as a poet and later, became a famous short story writer.
His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary, higher secondary and graduation level Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
