"Jag Ljuger Så Bra" ("I lie so good") is the third single from Swedish pop singer Linda Bengtzing, who released from her debut album Ingenting att förlora during the first quart of 2006. The song taked part in Melodifestivalen 2006, ending at 7th place in the final. Then, it becomes the greatest hit of her career.

The song, composed specially for Melodifestivalen by Lars Diedricson, Martin Hedström and prestigius Ingela “Pling” Forsman, was originally written for another artist, Jessica Andersson who finally chose "Kalla nätter" ("Cold Nights") to take part at the contest.

[edit] Melodifestivalen 2006

Linda, who participated in Melodifestivalen 2005 for first time with Alla flickor ("All the girls") ending last at final with one of the most favourites songs of this year, decided to repeat in 2006. At February 18 she was selected finalist with a 2nd position at the first semifinal in the city of Leksand.

One month later, take part the final in Stockholm. Like in 2005, Linda was one of the favourites but ended in a bad position, 7th with 56 points, 34 from juries and 22 from public (138,249 televotes).

The single was released in Sweden at March 13, 2006, debuting #23 at Hitlistan three days later. It uped #4 next week and was #2 at the fifth. It take part at swedish top-60 during 20 weeks.

[edit] Svensktoppen

The song directly entered the fourth place at Svensktoppen on 9 April 2006. A third place was the best result there. On 13 August 2006, Jag ljuger så bra made it's 19th and last Svensktoppen visit.
