Lavik deals with many subjects on his sophomore release. Through it all, the relationship he has with God shines through the most. "Changing Happy" deals with true happiness; not the superficial kind the world has to offer: we've all tried to cover sadness and sorrow with temporary things that never seem to last. The first single "Father" is slower than the upbeat opener, but a great follow-up as it provides the answer to "Changing Happy," which is: only God can provide eternal happiness. When all else fails, and every other hope crumbles.

As an Indie artist, Lavik still hasn't broken into the true limelight of the Christian music scene. But Life on the Inside has still received a few solid reviews from Jesus Freak Hideout and Christianity Today.
