User talk:Jacob...

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello Jacob..., welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, -- C mon 13:17, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi again

Blanking one's talk page is considered rude.

Placing a {{nonsense}} tag on Image talk:Higherself.jpg is self-defeating - it is simply a request to delete that talk page! The correct procedure is: edit the image out of the articles that use it and put the image through the WP:IFD process. -- RHaworth 12:55, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Political Science

I noticed that you were interested in Political science, and in the Wikipedia community. As such, you might find the following speecn rather entertaining (I know I did): http://www.archive.org/details/20060408-jscott-wikipedia

Thank you, Hetar! I'll watch it as soon as I finished my paper on Jacques Santer. I think you might like this, then: http://webcast.oii.ox.ac.uk/?view=Webcast&ID=20050711_76 (although it's all quite introductory). Jacob 11:34, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
