I edited the article President of Singapore to add a section on the Presidential Elections Committee not in order to remove the qualification but to make it clear who decides who can run for president. The article needs to make this much clearer. However, I leave the wording of that section to you. --Ghormax 14:46, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

It is a good idea to leave the red link to Hoxton Square if you think the article should exist, or in due course will exist. Red links can prompt article creation. I suggest reverting, as the Square is well known enough to generate its own article. Tyrenius 02:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 05:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I created this stub category after reading a notice on the "Wikipedia:SGpedians' notice board" encouraging users to specialize stub notices, not realizing there was a procedure for nominating the creation of new stubs. Sorry about that – am still pretty new to the arcana of Wikipedia! I agree there may not be many articles that qualify to be tagged with the {{Singapore-law-stub}} at the moment, but feel that there is scope for much growth. {{Singapore-stub}} is rather undifferentiated and could do with some refinement. Hello Jacklee, thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia but I think that it is not a place for April jokes as you did by renaming Jan Kaplický to Jan Kapličký. I am wondering how did you "invent" the new spelling. I was born in Bohemia and I live there for 31 years but I have never seen surname Kapličký, it does not exist in this and surrounding regions or Czech language. In every Czech book or newspaper you will find the correct name: Jan Kaplický. --pabouk 07:24, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- It was certainly not meant as an April Fool's joke. I was following the spelling used in the newspaper article Woodman, Ellis. "The Library has Landed", The Daily Telegraph (Review), 2007-03-31. I suppose the journalist who wrote that article must have got it wrong. Sorry about that. Cheers, Jacklee 11:30, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- I just realized that the on-line version of the article spells the surname "Kaplický" correctly. I read the newspaper version of the article – it was spelled "Kapličký" there. Anyway, thanks a lot for reverting the mistakes. Cheers, Jacklee 11:43, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
