There was a whole lot of inaccuracies concerning the Toubon law, probably copied from incompetent journalistic commentary, while the text of the law is available on the Web! David.Monniaux 10:50, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I recall that this phrase was actually coined by Toubon's publicist at the ministry, in a quip to an English-speaking journalist. --Duncan 08:50, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
