Jacques Teyssier

Jacques Teyssier (born 31 October 1955 in Annonay, Ardèche, Rhône-Alpes) is a French citizen and a German gay civil rights activist.

He is a member of the board of directors of the lesbian and gay association (Lesben- und Schwulenverband in Deutschland LSVD). From 1997 to 2005 he was treasurer of the association. He represents his organisaton within ILGA and ILGA-Europe.

Since 1992 he lives with his partner Volker Beck, a German politician and one of the most famous gay activist in Germany. They have resided in Cologne, Paris and Berlin. He studied at the Grande Ecole de commerce et de management (EM Lyon) and worked for a German pharmaceutical company.

Jacques Teyssier took part in the Gay rights events in Warsaw 2005 und 2006 and Moscow (27.5.2006). He represented the LSVD at these events.
