Jacques Cesaire (born August 30, 1980 in Worcester, MA) is a defensive end on the San Diego Chargers of the NFL. He was signed by the Chargers in 2002 as an undrafted free agent.
Cesaire played football for Southern Connecticut State University, a Division II program. In 2002, after his senior year, Jacques was named the Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Lineman of the year. He was a first team NCAA Division II All-America selection by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and a first team all NE-10 pick in 2002.
Jacques graduated from Gardner High School in Gardner, MA in 1998. While there, he captained the football, basketball, and track teams. He also lead Gardner to a 1997 Central/Western Massachusetts Super Bowl victory as a two-way starter at tight end and defensive end.
In February of 2006 the Chargers resigned Jacques to a new 5-year contract, which runs through the 2011 season.
