Jacob Pleydell-Bouverie, 6th Earl of Radnor

Jacob Pleydell-Bouverie, 6th Earl of Radnor CIE, CBE was born on 8 July 1868 and died on 26 June 1930. He was the son of William Pleydell-Bouverie and Helen Matilda Chaplin. He married Julian Eleanor Adelaide Balfour, daughter of Charles Balfour, on 20 January 1891 and had 10 children:

  • Lady Jeane Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 23 March 1892), married with Major George Gerald Petherick and had issue.
  • Lady Katherine Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 16 May 1894, d. 12 November 1961), married with John Henry McNeile.
  • Sir William Pleydell-Bouverie, 7th Earl of Radnor (b. 18 December 1895, d. 1968), married firstly with Helena Olivia Adeane and had issue and secondly with Anne Isobel Graham Oakley and had issue.
  • Lady Elizabeth Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 27 June 1897)
  • Captain Hon. Edward Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 10 September 1899, d. 7 May 1951), married with Alice Pearl Crake and had issue.
  • Major Hon. Bartholemew Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 6 April 1902), married firstly with Lady Doreen Clare Hely-Hutchinson, daughter of the 6th Earl of Donoughmore, and had issue and secondly with Katherine Tod.
  • Lady Margaret Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 26 June 1903, d. 17 September 2002), married with Lt.-Col Gerald Barry and had issue.
  • Hon. Anthony Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 26 March 1905, d. 25 June 1961), married with Anita Estelle Costiander.
  • Lady Helen Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 2 January 1908), married with Lt.-Col Hon. David John Smith, son of William Smith, 2nd Viscount Hambleden, and had issue.
  • Hon. Peter Pleydell-Bouverie (b. 19 October 1909), married firstly with Audrey Evelyn James and secondly with Audrey Kidston and had issue.
