Jacob Andrew Hollander, B.A., Ph.D. (1871–1940) was an American economist, born in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1891. He was appointed secretary to the Bimetallic Commission of 1897. US President Mckinley named him Treasurer of the island of Puerto Rico in 1900.

He edited the Letters of David Ricardo to J. R. McCulloch (1895) and to Hutches Trower (1899). His publications include:

  • Report on the Debt of Santo Domingo (1906)
