Jaclyn Nesheiwat is a beauty queen from New York City, New York who has competed in the Miss USA pageant.
Nesheiwat was raised in Umatilla, Florida and first competed in the Miss Florida USA 2001 pageant where she placed third runner-up. The following year she competed for the second time and was first runner-up to Shannon Ford. Having moved to New York, Nesheiwat competed in the Miss New York USA for the first time in 2003, when she won the 2004 title. Her "sister" 2004 titleholder, Miss New York Teen USA Catherine Muldoon, had also competed actively in Georgia before moving to New York and winning that state's title. Nesheiwat represented New York in the Miss USA 2004 pageant broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California in April 2004. She failed to place in the pageant, which was won by Shandi Finnessey of Missouri.
In 2004 Nesheiwat passed on her crown to Meaghan Jarensky. The following year, her younger sister Dina Nesheiwat placed fourth runner-up in the Miss Maryland USA contest.
In February 2006, Nesheiwat married Creed singer Scott Stapp, and used fellow Miss USA 2004 delegate Maria Lekkakos of Massachusetts as her wedding planner. The two had been engaged for little over a month,[1] although the two had met at a charity gala in January 2005 where Nesheiwat appeared as Miss New York USA alongside Miss USA Shandi Finnessey.[2] En route to their honeymoon, Stapp was arrested for being publicly intoxicated but escaped charges.[3] Stapp later claimed that Nesheiwat's support helped him to quit alcohol.[4] They welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Milan Hayat Stapp, on January 4, 2007.[5]
