Jaclyn Moriarty

Jaclyn Moriarty (born in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian writer of young adult literature.

She studied English at the University of Sydney, and law at Yale University and Cambridge, where she was awarded a PhD. She has published five novels, Cicada Summer, Feeling Sorry for Celia, Finding Cassie Crazy (published as "The Year of the Secret Assignments" outside of Australia and the UK.), The Betrayal of Bindy Mackenzie, and I Have a Bed Made of Buttermilk Pancakes. She is married to a Canadian writer Colin McAdam, and divides her time between Sydney and Montreal.
