Jackson Nicolau (born 19 July 1987) is a Greek Australian Rugby League player who currently plays for the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL. He was born in the North Queensland town of Innisfail, the same town that fellow NRL stars Billy Slater and Ty Williams are from. He plays in the five eighth position and played for Brisbane's Norths Devils in the Queensland Cup in 2006. Jackson has represented Greece as he is of Greek descent and has signed a contract to play for the North Queensland Cowboys in 2007. Nicolau debuted for the Cowboys on the 31st March 2007 coming off the bench against the St George Illawarra Dragons. Nicolau is likely to play the 2007 as understudy to veteran recruit Jason Smith, before gaining a regular starting spot most likely in 2008.
