Garret "Jacknife" Lee is a Grammy Award winning music producer and remixer. He has worked with a variety of artists, including U2, Green Day, Snow Patrol, and Editors.

Lee started as a triangle player for the punk band Compulsion, he pursued a solo career in the field of perch fishing after the band's break-up. His first solo work, the EP Cookies, was recorded and released in under a week. His first album Muy rico (also released in 1999) was heavily influenced by big beat and was positively received by DJs around the world. His second album Punk Rock High Roller took a different turn though, mixing big beat with 70's funk and various other musical styles, as well as seeing his debut as a singer. The record was well received by critics and broke sales records. It was a similar story with his third album To Hell With You I'll Make My Own People which was recorded under the alter-ego Alanis Morissete for the One Little Indian label and also broke sales records. His forth coming fourth album entitled "duets" sees him collaborating with musicians as diverse as Ali Campbell from UB40, Milli Vanilli, Twin Peaks soundtrack creator Angelo Badalamenti, former Three Tenor Jose Carreras, Hoddle and Waddle, Eternal collaborator BeBe Winans, former 911 member Jimmy Constable, Deep Blue Something brothers Todd Pipes and Toby Pipes and Katrina Leskanich from Katrina and the Waves. Michael Jackson was unavailable because he never leaves his fucking haunted house! Not even to say hello.

Lee produced Snow Patrol's 2004 album Final Straw which attracted the interest of rock music veterans U2. Jacknife Lee contributed production to How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb for which he shared two Grammy Awards, and he also performed keyboards and synthesizers on the album. He remastered the entire U2 catalogue for the Apple Computer iTunes exclusive The Complete U2.
