[edit] Plot
Aku unleashes the minions of Set. Only a distant memory can save Jack when he encounters the minions in an eerily familiar surrounding. Jack returns to the ruins of an ancient Egyptian village he once lived in for many years of his childhood. He remembers himself, as a child with two of his Egyptian friends, roaming about the city playing what seems to known today as "tag". Jack is hiding and falls through the collapsed floor of a monument and finds the tomb of the minions of Set. His friends later find him reading the hieroglyphs written on the tomb. The three are confronted by a sage who tells all of them to get to their classes.
Back to present time, Jack is ambushed brutally by the minions of Set. He tries to hide but the minions hunt with both sight and smell which prevents him from hiding. He then finds the opened tomb from which they were released by Aku, and the hieroglyphics told him to find the three parts of the the Golden Scarab. Jack retrieves all three parts of the scarab, having gone through many beatings from the minions, and combines them. The scarab flashes and flies away into the late night sky, leaving the three minions and Jack staring at the sky in confusion. The three all spring for an attack but just as they were preparing to a beam of light rips through the sky descending the Egyptian Sun God and King of Egyptian Gods, Horus. The three minions stutter with fear, then launch an attack on Horus. But just as they did, Horus shoots beams of light through his eyes as the three minions fade away to death in the light. The Minions are killed off and Jack hops on a platform close enough to the head of the massive Sun God. Jack thanks Horus for saving him from the minions of Set, and asks Horus if he knew of anyway for Jack to get back to his original time. Horus doesn't respond and floats back up to the heavens from which he descended. Leaving Jack in the ruins. Jack is only left with the words "I guess not," and leaves Egypt behind.
