Jack Owen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jack Owen is an American heavy metal guitarist best known for his work in the death metal subgenre. He was one of the founding members of Cannibal Corpse. He stayed with the band from their formation in 1988 until 2004 when he left because of commitments to his side project, Adrift(it's also believed that he left because he couldn't play some of the riffs that fellow Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pat O'brien wrote).[1] Later that year though, he was hired by Deicide - another influential and long-running Florida death metal band - and has recorded one album with them, The Stench of Redemption, released in 2006.
