Jack Hues

Jack Hues (born Jeremy Allan Ryder, 10 December 1954, in Gillingham, Kent, England) was in the 1980s rock band Wang Chung, and is the father of the former EastEnders actor, Jack Ryder.

Hues involvement with Wang Chung was as both the vocalist, and as a guitarist. Hues has also recorded various soundtracks for films including The Guardian. He had a solo album, The Anatomy Lesson in the making which did not see any light, until he teamed up with Tony Banks of Genesis to make the album, Strictly Inc.

More recently, Jack Hues and other former band members of Wang Chung, have announced plans to issue a new album early in 2007.

Hues is also father-in-law to Jack Ryder's wife, the pop singer turned actress, Kym Marsh (now credited as Kym Ryder).
