Jack Foster

John ("Jack") Charles Foster (born May 23, 1932 in Liverpool – died June 5, 2004) is a former long-distance runner, who was born in the United Kingdom. He represented New Zealand in the men's marathon at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in Munich, West Germany (1972). A resident of Rotorua he won the silver medal in the marathon at the 1974 Commonwealth Games in Christchurch.
