Jack Benaroya

Jack A. Benaroya (born 1921) is a noted philanthropist and prominent civic leader in Seattle, Washington. He supports cultural, educational and medical groups with his donations. He is a former director of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of King County (Seattle).

The largest commercial real estate developer in the state of Washington, Benaroya established the family-owned Benaroya Company in 1956. In 1984, the company turned its focus to venture capital investments and philanthropic endeavors. Noted major donations include:
