Jack Armstrong A.K.A. "The Coach" (born January 3, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, USA), is the color commentator for the Toronto Raptors on Rogers Sportsnet and Raptors NBA TV. Jack is also a college basketball anaylst for ESPN. Armstrong was a former coach for Niagara University. In 1992-1993 he led the Niagara Purple Eagles to a 23-7 record and was named the New York State Division I Coach of the Year. Armstrong's knowledge of the game has made him one of the most respected basketball analysts in Canada. He is known for his trademarked raspy voice.
