Jace Everett is an American country music singer/songwriter.

Jace was born in Evansville, Indiana. His father's jobs kept them on the move though; Indianapolis, Indiana Carmel, and then St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of six. While in Texas, Jace learned about his country music roots in church. He started playing country music in his church and in school concerts. Growing up, he had musical heroes such as Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, but also developed a love of Blues, Gospel, and rock and roll.

He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University. After dropping out of Belmont, Jace flew to Europe to play for a cover band.

[edit] Professional music career

It wasn't until he moved back to Nashville almost 10 years later that he landed a record deal. His second and only successful record deal was with Sony Nashville. Jace released his first single, "That's The Kind Of Love I'm In" in June 2005. His self titled album entered stores on March 7, 2006. The album includes songs titled, "That's The Kind Of Love I'm In," "Bad Things," and "Everything I Want." Jace appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in early 2006.

Jace Everett maintains his own MySpace page where his fans and "friends" can check in on upcoming shows or whatever is going on in his world.
